Good attendance is essential if our children are going to make the maximum progress. At Lum Head, our target for each child’s attendance is 97%.
We reward good attendance in a variety of ways. At the end of each term we reward children who have achieved 100% attendance. Each week, we announce the attendance for each class in assembly and the winning class gets the chance to throw the dice and play ‘Attendanceopoly’ winning different treats for the class.
The Headteacher and Family Welfare Worker work closely with families to support them in improving their attendance. If you have any concerns about your child’s health or attendance please do not hesitate to contact us.
