Friends of Lum Head

Who are Friends of Lum Head?

Friends of Lum Head (FoLH) is our own Parent Teacher Association (PTA). A group of parent volunteers who give up their time to organise fundraising and social events.

Last year we raised over £5,300 and supported the purchase of the new adventure playground and funded new sports equipment and welcome gifts for our new Reception children.

All parents are welcome to come to any FoLH meeting, but if you would like any more information, you can contact us at

How can you help?

Could you help to organise an event? Join a sub-committee, bring your ideas and help to make our events as successful as they can be.

All events need volunteers! If you could spare just one hour of your time to run a stall or serve refreshments, it would be hugely appreciated.

Support our events! Just come along with your children, have fun and know that you are raising money to support our school.

Would you like to make regular donations to the Friends?

A few parents have expressed an interest in setting up a regular donation to Friends of Lum Head. So, we have created a Standing Order Mandate Form which contains all you need to ask your bank to make regular transfers to our account or to enable you to set up your own transfers online.

You can download the form here Standing Order Mandate .

Keep losing uniform?

If you label your uniform with Stikins or Stamptastic, you can prevent lost property and raise money for Friends of Lum Head at the same time. We get commission whenever you buy products from these companies using our code:                       Code: 12582               Code: SK84RR

Raise money for the Friends whenever you shop online

Friends of Lum Head has joined the Give as you Live scheme which means you can raise money for Friends of Lum Head whenever you shop online with companies such as Amazon, Ebay, Debenhams, M&S and Argos or even when you book a holiday or hotel with Overall, there are 4300 online retailers who will donate a percentage of whatever you spend to FoLH.

Register at and select Friends of Lum Head as your charity.
