Running Club 
The club is organised by Mrs Latham-Smith and Miss Holland and training sessions are at school on Tuesdays at 3.15 p.m. until 4.00 p.m.

Lum Head runners also take part in the Wilf Richards Memorial Primary Schools Cross County League on one Saturday per month between September and March.  This takes place at Wythenshawe Park, Wythenshawe Road, Manchester, M23 OAB.

Runners will need to bring training shoes, water bottle, shorts or jogging bottoms and a tracksuit top or sweatshirt.

Mrs Latham-Smith will be happy to answer any queries or provide printouts of dates, times and venues of forthcoming competitive events.

 

Football Club

Football Club is for KS2 boys and girls on Fridays after school from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The club is run by Box Football and children will take part in matches.

 

Sports Clubs

Life Leisure run a different sports club after school until 5.30pm. There is a charge of £3.50 per session for this club.

Code Club 

The club is organised by Mrs Gordon and Miss Joseph and is held each Thursday after school until 4:15 p.m. Code club offers children the change to use a range of computing programmes and programmable pieces of equipment before they are used school wide. At code club we create our own animations, build Lego robots, use a range of iPad apps and become digital leaders! Digital leaders support class teachers during the teaching of computing, they are in charge of distributing and collecting the iPads for each session as well as hosting assemblies.
