Running Club 
The club is organised by Mrs Latham-Smith and training sessions are at school on Wednesdays at 3.15 p.m. until 4.00 p.m.

Lum Head runners also take part in the Wilf Richards Memorial Primary Schools Cross County League on one Saturday per month between September and March.  This takes place at Wythenshawe Park, Wythenshawe Road, Manchester, M23 OAB.

Runners will need to bring training shoes, water bottle, shorts or jogging bottoms and a tracksuit top or sweatshirt.

Mrs Latham-Smith will be happy to answer any queries or provide printouts of dates, times and venues of forthcoming competitive events.

Dodgeball*

Mondays 3.15 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Children take part in warm-ups and fun games to coach skills such as movement, balance, catching, throwing, dodging and     co-ordination.  The sessions end with a dodgeball match.

Olympians*

Tuesdays 3.15 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
A fun multi-sports coaching programme with different sports each week.  Sessions have a snack/drink break half way through.

Cheerleading*

Wednesdays at lunchtime.
The lunchtime Cheerleading Club specialises in exciting, fun and interactive cheerleading sessions.

Mini Soccer*

Wednesdays 3.15 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Children improve football skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, heading and more.  Sessions end with small-sided football matches.

Street Dance*
Thursdays 3.15 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Street dancing lessons don’t just teach dance skills.  They also help to improve interpersonal skills, confidence, creativity and expression.  These skills are skills for life and will have a far reaching effect in all areas of your child’s life, not just on the dance floor.  Sessions have a snack/drink break half way through.

Gymnastics*
Fridays 3.15 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Gymnastics will improve your child’s fitness levels while helping them to develop strength, agility, co-ordination and balance as well as good posture, flexibility and self-confidence.  Sessions have a snack/drink break half way through.

*These clubs are hosted by Little Sports Coaching and are fee paying.
